I was leaving Lake Needwood park after photographing a club cross-country race when I noticed people actually using the archery range. So, I stopped long enough to shoot some of the shooters before they got annoyed enought to shoot me. There was a group of six folks -- of which this woman was one -- who lined up like a firing squad and shot 8 or 10 arrows as fast as they could. I wonder if this is how they executed ne'er do wells in olden days - ouch! There also was a guy (see below) who, I'll bet spends alternate weekends either at paintball matches or test-firing his AK-47 deer assault weapon.
