This is Rocky, a 12 year old black lab. This shot was taken as part of a "family photo session", dogs and goats (really), I did 12/26/04 at the request of a friend from my YMCA. Other photos from the shoot are at http://www.pbase.com/dsteinauer/critters_bratton .

I now can claim (some) photographic expertise with dogs and goats, in addition to occasional horses, sheep, cats, hamsters, and squirrels. I'm looking forward to adding additional ungulates, and maybe even marsupials to my rapidly expanding portfolio. Not sure about reptiles or arachnids. Sooner or later I may be permited to photograph human beings in their natural habitat.
