I have been the race director of a night time 8k race for the last 19 years. Because we have such a superb crew of team captains and volunteers, I have pretty much nothing to do on raceday. So, for the last couple years I've brought my camera and spent the evening trying to learn how to take night photos. Since I have yet to get a decent flash for my new D70 (and because I'm still a bloody hack) I still don't get many decent shots. I've uploaded most of the shots I took Saturday night, despite the fact that many should be thrown in the bit bucket -- primarily to provide runners in the race to see if they are in any of the pics. A few selected shots that I've fiddled with (or at least framed) are in the Selected Shots subgallery.
