Plum Run, Gettysburg

New Year's Day 2013. Plum Run ran through the middle of some of the fiercest fighting on the second day of the battle. It was said that this creek ran red with blood, hence the name Bloody Run. On this New Year's day, almost 150 later, it seems only cold and lonely. In the background is Round Top, just beyond which, on Little Round Top, was fought one of the deciding battles that day.
