I was shooting at the YWCA and was about to leave when I noticed these swimmers in the lap lanes of the pool. The light sucked, and I didn't have my brightest lens on the camera, so I put the camera in aperture priority and shot with whatever shutter speed came up (1/2s in this case) -- not the best way to get crisp athletic photos. This was no exception, but I actually liked the (considerable) blurring as it gave a real sense of motion. The light area in the center, which was just reflection off the window through which I was shooting, brings the eye directly to the swimmers.
