11/19/09 - Taking the Long View
ds20091119b-0205aaw long view.jpg

Gettysburg, PA

Well, as they say, always be looking for another viewpoint. (Some would call this leering, but I call it art.)

PP: LR:crop, local exposure adjustment to darken negative space, some spot healing, tonal adjustments, sharpening - all in 16bit color. Silver Efex Pro: Reduce exposure 1 stop, tone and vignette for old photo effect - 16 bit. PS CS4: Additional healing, local adjustments, overall softening by extracting the subject to a separate layer, applying gaussian blur (~20), setting blend mode to overlay, and backing off the opacity a bit. Other than that, it's just as it came out of the camera. :-)
