This may be my best image of the Afghanistan mission. This man was sitting on the gurney upon which his sister lay dying. He was there for two days while she slowly died of pneumonia after having gone through procedures to solve several other problems. She was unmarried and had spent her life caring for this man and his family. Now the brother tended to her. He sang to her, prayed with her, and generally saw to her comfort as best he knew how.
