Result
Now this first project is over and I had to wait a long time until I was ready and in the mood documenting the nice cards I got! At last this is done. Here is also a final image showing me happy with all the cards I received. Thanks again to all the contributors!

Of course, the preparation in the beginning took me some time: The few last entries depict the process I went through the decision making and production of my postcards in the very beginning of this project.
31-DEC-2011
Candidate: NEMO
This was my first approach to the postcard subject. I like the graffiti and the boat style of this maintenance facility, as well as the orange look.
02-JAN-2012
Candidate: St. Paulus
Later on I thought a b&w image would be a better choice. But printed on a small postcard, you don't really see much details of the church...
02-JAN-2012
Candidate: CRY
Finally I found this big wall art in my image library, as a 3rd choice for the postcard project.
04-JAN-2012
Decision
It was a difficult choice, but candidate CRY did finally the run. br>
I spent also many hours reading the different online offerings for postcard prints, beeing this my first postcard project. At the end my choice was
ifolor.
09-JAN-2012
Production
Got the postcard prints. They look way better than I expected from the screen preview. Not very thick but it was the fastest offering.

Writing by longarm is time consuming, but a funny old challenge too.
12-JAN-2012

38 stamps later, my postcards are on its way. More than 20 to USA a few to Australia, one to Malaysia and the remaining to Europe.

Statistics: Sensor and Film Types
For 28 (out of 36) I got also detailed camera sensor or film information which is depicted in the picture above. The standard 135 type (24x36mm) film is the most used recording medium. Though there is evidence of 5 CCD sensors in the same size, coming from the M9 models.
