The arrival of Queen Annes Lace is always an early summer event in this region.

Fresh corn is plentiful and delicious in this region.
You can buy fresh yellow, white, or yellow/white combination corn.
They are all tender and juicy when purchased fresh from the field.

The hanging flower baskets on our front porch are now at their peak.
They will soon begin to wilt and loose blooms as we enter the "dog days of summer".

Pennsylvania offers lots of winter outdoor activities.
You can shovel snow, chip ice, or ski on your driveway.... to name a few.

After the winter storms, the Schuylkill County streams run rapidly as they carry away the melting snow and the overflow from the higher elevation reservoirs.
