Onlookers watch with despair.

Onlookers brave the cold to witness the beginning of the end for the Saint George Church.

Despite many protests, the Catholic Church elected to destroy the historic structure.

I like your pictures. Six generations of my family belonged to St. George's. I liked some of the pictures you took up the cemetery. They have the whole back of the church torn down now. You can see the beautiful paintings on the ceilings. It is sad! I took some of my own pictures today.
