Ranthambhore National Park in Rajasthan is one of India’s “Project Tiger” parks preserving the endangered tiger. There are about 40 tigers in the 400 sq km park – and although this is a premiere park for tigers there is no guarantee of seeing one. Our trip this past Dec (2004) is a case and point – out of 3 days in the park we saw no tigers.

However, there is more to the park than tigers and thus this medley of photos taken either in the park or near our hotel (Tiger Moon), which resides on the outskirts of the park. All pictures are taken with a Canon EOS 10D.
