Nick Called to say that he is now in his permanent station in Iraq. He has already flown missions and he is very very busy. Flies are terrible, heat doesn't bother him yet. He is in a conex with 4 other guys but will eventually be just two of them living there:It is 40 ft' long and airconditioned. The PX's here that he flys to have almost everything he needs. It will be about 2 weeks for the e-mail to start working so keep the letters & photos coming...he has already recieved several and he said they are a wonderful surprise!!!!

News from Nick,
I am in Kuwait for training missions for next month. I live in an airconditioned tent with
60 other soldiers. It is 100 degrees and the talcum powder desert sand is getting into everything.
Heat hasn't been a problem for me but it is for many others. The wind keeps me not hot. The food is very good and I have no complaints about that. Everyone here is very kind to me and they really try to keep us as comfortable as possible. Thanks for all notes and messages...Nick

WOW, Now Jacob and Lucas can say they actually know someone over in Iraq. We will keep you in our prayers - at home and at school. We have Military Week during the school year where we honor those who serve. Have a safe trip over there.
