Steve,
GREAT shots. I love that you are Old School and have embraced, or should I say,
You've been embraced by the digital photography world. I studied photography in a serious Ansel Adams vein back in 1979 through the early 80's and always imagined that I could be one of his countless followers who made a living by selling his large format B&W prints...
Then adult life happened! I actually put everything away [Wista 8x10 field camera, Kodak 4x5 press camera, Leica M42 rangefinder] and just took the occasional snap of the kids...
Hurting inside for some 20 years before finally buying myself a Canon D20 this December!
Anyway....I stumbled upon your image of San Juan Mission from 1980 and realized that the unmarked 11X14 image [dated 1895] that I bought 20 years ago was indeed the Mission at San Juan.
Keep up the Canon 10-22mm work....You're really doing well. I have had my concerns about obtaining sharp landcape results with it that sidestep the barrel distortion...it can be done!
