Many, many thanks go to photographer Darwin Wiggett for leading such a great workshop. In addition to taking great pictures, he's an excellent communicator and teacher. Before going to Banf, pick up his How To Photograph The Canadian Rockies and Dances With Light.
Alan Ernst, also a good photographer, was an exceptional host at his Aurum Lodge. Aurum is definitely photographer-friendly - Alan understands what photographers are looking for and can give great location advice. It was fascinating watching Darwin and Alan discuss the quickly changing weather conditions and choose the best spots.
Finally, thanks to co-attendees Rick and Arlene - it wasn't the same shooting the next day without you!
