U.S. Forest Service Hangar. Long time friend Dick Stefanski flies for the Forest Service and took me on a quick tour of the facility.
Note the turboprop engines, replacing the standard reciprocating engines, on this WWII vintage R4D/C47 aka Goonie Bird. This plane is used to drop smoke jumpers over isolated fire areas.
