The first works of art in ink by this self-taught artist, born in Sant Gregori, in the province of Girona (Catalonia) in 1965, were already to be found on show in some group exhibitions in the city of Barcelona in 1982, but since 1987 he has continuosly been working and exhibiting his works in several countries.
After begining to work with ink, and thereafter with oil, since 1989 he has used almost exclusively acrylic pigments, tempera colours and natural earth pigments, without ever abandoning ink for his preliminary studies.
He is gifted with a style in constant evolution, already remarkable in his first paintings back to his time on the island of Menorca from 1987 to 1989. Afterward he moved to Italy, first to Rome to collaborate in the multi-media performance "In Casa Nostra", and then to Florence for several projects.
At the end of 1991 he left Florence and after a short period in Barcelona, he moved to New Zealand. He lived and worked in this country for the next five years, realising several exhibitions and private comissions. In the same period he created the artistic company "La Ray" in collaboration with the contemporary dancer Raewyn Hill, inaugurating a personal exhibition in the art cafe "Vesuvio" entitled "The Last Exhibition", wich turned out to be a memorable artistic festival with the participation of renowed artists of the country. He left New Zealand in 1997.
He continued to travel, first to Barcelona and then to Florence, holding exhibitions in each city, including one of his ink works in the prestigious old florentine "Foccardi" library.
In 1998 he left Florence and moved to San Gimignano, in the province of Siena, where he lived and worked holding regular and several exhibitions in this city and in other countries of Europe until 2003 when he moved to Mexico. During the two years he lived in Mexico city, he did not stop his creation and, in a short time, he presented a large and interesting serie of new works in the centre of the district of Tlalpan, in the same city. This serie became two long term exhibitions held until the present in different districts of the country.
In 2005 he came back to Europe and moved to Vienna, in Austria, where he lived and worked till 2011 creating new series of oils,large mosaic and other private comissions shown in the centre of this city.
During this time he shared his own work with the the participation as a painter for theatre, decorations and other scenographic projects.
