It's a partly cloudy day for my assault on the final stage of the trek. I am feeling especially fit
but there isn't really that far to go. Of course I shall not be taking the shortest possible route
but rather a meandering one to photograph something of the oldest precincts in Sydney.

Everywhere one looks in Sydney, new construction of one kind or another is taking place and I have
tended to focus overmuch recently on the new. This morning I'll be trying to zero in on the old.

My goal has always been the GPO at No.1 Martin Place, one of the pedestrian mall central meeting
places of the city. I'll know that my trek is over when I am standing next to the famous old
plaque which proclaims the address.
