I stand on the railway platform to await my train, gazing across to the Toongabbie CBD such as it is.
We are now a fair way from the Great Western Highway but as the journey progresses we will see it
briefly one more time, just as we approach Parramatta. Then we shall leave it again to explore
that city and to resume our journey along the river bank and on to Port Jackson. But all that will
happen on the stage after next. Right now, after a surprisingly short two hours and ten minutes I
am pretty bushed and ready to go home.
