Three weeks have gone past since the last stage. Mainly that's been due to poor weather. The starting
points for these walks are now getting further and further from home. Getting there is taking longer.
It is getting more difficult to "take a punt" on the weather because the best part of a day can get
consumed for no result if one gets it wrong. Anyway, today the weather was unambiguously clear and
pretty so here I am, standing at the top of Blacktown railway station, looking through the same
window I shot a picture through at the end of the last session. It is twenty two minutes past eight
and conditions are close to perfect.
