skyway wf.jpg

It is amazing how circumstances change and all of a sudden time resources run short. I have come to
the conclusion that, despite my good intentions, running a genuine "Photo-a-Day" gallery on pbase
(for me at least) is no longer practicable. Consequently I am going to suspend my pbase PaD gallery
efforts at least for now and grow my pbase photo collection as subject galleries, much as I used to do
and as most of you (sensibly) ALREADY do. For those of you who have kindly afforded me "favourites"
status, I shall still be here most days - just not attempting a PaD as such. I certainly still have an interest
in looking at great pictures and will be visiting YOUR galleries, just as I always do.

Let me take this opportunity to congratulate the people who DO manage wonderful PaDs and to whom
my admiration continues to extend. To wind up my PaD 12 (at least for now) I post a picture of the
Scenic World Skyway gondola as it approaches its western terminus. I figured a Blue Mountains shot
would be an appropriate finale for this gallery.

I can fully understand your decision, you've done very well and I will continue to check on your galleries which I'm sure will continue to be excellent.

Great shot of the gondola! I feel I can reach out and touch it. Lovely time of day for this shot. V

Outstanding capture of this gondola with your G12! BV
I usually post something every day, but have never done a PAD per se. Looking forward to seeing more of your grand work (including kitchen things!) :)

I tend to take it as "the photo I worked on today" otherwise one ends up with endless photos in the archives. Great shot here David of some very brave souls in the skylift!

I understand, David. And often question the *wisdom/insanity (*delete as appropriate) of rushing around the house in the evening trying to find something interesting to photograph.
I do still want a trip on that skyway :)

Outstanding, tack sharp departure shot, David. V~ whether it's a PAD or a new addition to any gallery, your work shines!
