horseshoe label wf.jpg

I am fully determined to demonstrate just how good cameras like the G12 CAN ACTUALLY BE. 100%
inspections of the full sized image show quite extraordinary detail in the grain of the paper used for this wine
label. Thing is that small sensors provide the deep DOF which proves so useful for really close focus images.
There is also no mirror crashing about, destroying effective acuity. Combined with its corded remote
control, the G12 becomes a totally vibration-free instant macro machine. Sometimes I think the
usefulness of DSLRs is overrated.

Too true, that G12 is doing a great job. Does it have a corkscrew though?

Nice shot David But..... this camera just isn't as fast as a DSLR....
Don't get me wrong, I do love my G12 but realize that there still are some limitations.
