Hi everyone. Sorry I've been gone so long but all of a sudden everything seems to be happening at once. I have been
quite run off my feet and have not really had time to shoot personal images much. In between everything else
I finally went out and got that "go-anywhere-do-anything-forget-you've-even-got-it" camera that I have been
promising myself for ages, in the form of a Canon G12. For a long time I thought I might get a G1X but when I finally
worked out all of the things that the G1X COULDN'T do, I went and got the tried & true G12. So far I am mightily
impressed to say the least. It even composes and shoots its OWN pictures FOR YOU ... now THAT IS clever. :o)
I had just inserted the freshly charged battery, had plonked the camera on the desk next to the belt pouch
I'd bought and had just begun to study the manual printout when I glanced down to see the above image on
the LCD. What else could I do? I pressed the shutter release and voila. I think this thing is better than ME! :o)
