Today was a beautiful spring day in the Blue Mountains and so I took a walk in the nearby national
park. There are hundreds of kilometres of beautiful bush tracks to follow around here, many no more
than walking distance from my house. Here is a glimpse of the track which descends to the Leura
Cascades, a place of waterfalls, rain forest and native wildlife. As usual I was too careless to have
brought a tripod and by the time I got my act together, the sun was too high in the sky. Still I managed
to snare a few worthwhile images which I shall share over the next couple of days. I shall probably go
back a little better organised soon and get the pictures which were not quite possible today.

Nice reflections in that 'pea-souper' puddle! how nice that there's a chain link fence along the way! Terrific composition, David. V~

Looks like an adventurous place for a hike. Lovely scene, the reflection in the little pool of water is great. V

Your description sound like a wonderful place to visit over and over. Looking forward to more of this delightful park.

Better get out the Wellies, eh? You don't need a tripod, this is very fine. V
