... and now (as John Cleese was once want to say) for something completely different.
Here is a recent misty black and white rendition of Wentworth St, Blackheath. This is the place where
the Rhododendron Festival's "Grand Parade" marches each November. Despite it being late spring
at that time of year, the event is often obscured by fog such as above. This year we are looking for
a bright, half way pleasant looking day ... at least one can always hope.
I usually record the event as official photographer. I also participate in publicity by designing
brochures and posters. These delightful cartoon characters are among those created for the purpose
by my collaborator and good friend, Rhianna Williams. They depict some of the parade's favourite
participants, including some historical firemen, the pipe band and a local troupe of belly dancers.
