Virtually every building in Pyrmont is either a sparkling new development or else a restored and
converted heritage structure. Leaving Pyrmont Point Park we climbed a fine set of Sydney sandstone
steps to get a view of the old Water Police site. This is undergoing massive re-development to a
harbourside recreation garden complete with sculptures, amusements, advanced plants and public
amenities.
