A symbol of what is great in America. Old Glory still flying at half mast to pay respect to former President Gerald Ford who passed away and in unison with the American flag there is the POW MIA "You are not forgotten" flag to remind everyone that freedom isn't free. These flags are proudly flying over an American Legion in Salinas, CA and the gentleman sitting on the stoop likely a living and breathing war veteran hero that knows first hand what General Omar Bradley meant when he said, "Bravery is the capacity to perform properly even when scared half to death."
