My husband and I were recently (April 08) in England and visited two of the churches you have photographed - Boxgrove Priory and St. Andrews-by-the-Ford, and your photos take me back to those precious moments spent there. It's like going back in time to an unbelievable time in history. Thank you for sharing.

Outstanding gallery David. Beautiful shots of such a variety of types of churches and the detail you have shown of the interiors is remarkable. You have inspired me to try something similar eventually....I think I may be able to find a few more Sussex churches if I'm lucky!

The parish has a wonderful candlelight service at St. Leonards' in South Stoke at Christmas, which we will miss again - because we now live in Pennsylvania. Wonderful photographs. Do you have any of St. Peter & Paul in Rustington?
