At a local charity plant sale on behalf of a hospice, I won a raffle prize - a family ticket to an open air play - The Life of Christ - at Wintershall in Surrey.
Without wishing to offend anyone, I would not really call myself a Christian although I do consider myself spiritual and believe there is basic good in nearly all religions. We all need a code of conduct for living and an inner need to believe in someting or body greater than us.
Carol and I went to the Passion Play with an open mind and found it to be very moving. The colourful costumes, professional actors, animals and wonderful music made it an experience I am pleased I did not miss.
