Thanks David for taking the pics. I think they are great!

Hi David, My father-in-law asked me to ask you if he could get a copy of the history photo's you have. His Grandfather was R.S Alston and these photo's have some of his mother(Ruby) and his uncles. He saw the originals at the Ingham Library. Thank you.

Hi David. Thanks for editing your macro gallery comment after my faux pas. It caused me a bit of distress that I'd despoiled your gallery. :)
The eye in question is owned by my Norwegian friend. Her right eye is just straight blue. Her sister is similarly equipped :) . They were told that it happens when a zygote splits into twins, then reforms back to one offspring.

Still going back - 2nd fix did not work. It is very odd, it only happens with my 10 year old 80-200, not with any of the other 12 lenses I have tried. Will let you know...

How did you go at the Camera Clinic in Melbourne?

David.

I would like to buy a Sigma 12-24 for the D70 I have on order, but I am worried that I don't have the skills to look after a lens without a protective UV filter.

I have seen the rubber hood solution that Wilbert C describes in the dpreview Nikon forum, but would appreciate you comments about looking after "Popeye"as it is affectionately called.

I am looking foreword to using your Custom Curves.
