After photographing at the Pixely Wildlife Refuge (see the previous photograph in this gallery) with my friend, Jean Ray (who has here own gallery here), I traveled north, to Chico, California, to visit with more friends. Some miles south of town, just off of Highway 99, I stopped to photograph these rice silos, standing next to storage containers and rising above their reflections in a flooded rice field.
