Wales : Portmeirion - The Prisoner's Village

Portmeirion is a village loacated on the North Wales coast. During 1967/1968 it was used for the filming of the cult tv series 'The Prisoner' starring Patrick McGoohan.
Used for its surreal backdrops, Portmeirion is a residential village not a film set, although it has been commercialised because of its history.
