Hi Dave, I.m Imam, an English Teacher at a senior high school in Indonesia. i hope you can share with me everything about English Education
I visited Paris on vacation from my ESL work in Japan. People don't fully realize from photos and television just how magnificently beautiful and romantic Paris is. It's just something you have to experience. I tried to walk my feet off while there and regret the one week I spent in Marseille. Paris was just that great!
a wonderful trip...

Hi Dave and family,
I always love the photos you post, and you have a beautiful family!
I guess I should've scrolled down just a bit more to find the information I needed (regarding what kind of camera you were using). Keep shooting!
I have enjoyed 'getting lost' in your photo albums. You have a wonderful collection of photos. May I ask you what kind of camera you use? I have an SRL which takes great pictures (Cannon EOS Elan). I also have a digital camera (Olympus C-675 Camedia). Unfortunately, my Olympus broke when I dropped it a couple of months ago, and it's too expensive to continue developing film. So, I am going to replace my digital camera and have been asking folks who have an eye for photography what camera they use- as part of my research. :) Thanks! and keep shooting!
Very fine pictures of the city I call home.
Just one thing: why do so many people insist on referring to Paris as
"the City of Lights" ? It is, in fact, the City of Light.
There are indeed many lights at night, from cafes, stores, monuments lit up, etc.
But the City of Light title comes from the impressionists, who at the end of the
19th century, discovered that there was no other European city that had the same quality of natural light, caused by refraction from the bowl of small hills that surround Paris.
This quality of light still inspires all those artists (and photographers like yourself) who visit us every year.
Take care. Come visit again.
I'm Mexican, I was in Paris two years ago, unfortunately I didn't have a good camera, but my eyes never had forgotten all those scenes.

Hi Dave, When you were in Paris did you hear about the book "Sorbonne Confidential'? We read about it in a Times of London article. It's recounts the story of a women who tried to be an English teacher in France. Very funny.
We are in Paris right now checking out teaching options.
Your Paris photos are great.
