Anatomy of a catfight

Ashley (the tabby) and his sister Charcoal are usually the best of friends, but occasionally a little tiff will erupt. Usually Ashley is the instigator (as in this photo series)....but not always. Brother and sister are from a rescued Humane Society litter and are indoor cats. They spend their days sleeping, grooming, prowling, wrestling, racing, and mischief-making.

I was at my desk at home when I looked over into the living room and perceived a brewing conflict. Luckily, my Canon 20D was handy. The lens on it was a Canon 135mm L F2; a very fast lens capable of taking indoor photos using existing light without flash. Not the greatest of photos quality-wise since I had no time to properly prepare, but a fun series to capture nonetheless.
