South African Safari

On a business trip to South Africa in April, 2005 I was treated to a 3-day photo safari at the Kapama Game Preserve (about an hour's flight from Johannesburg). For the majority of these photos I used a Canon Rebel (300D) digital SLR and a 70-200L f4 telephoto lens with a 1.4 teleconverter.

Wonderful! Great to know that two years later Felix is "still in charge". What a great experience for your daughter!

Great fotos My daughter has just spent 2 days there with Southern Cross schools and loved it - even saw Felix!

Thanks! It was a trip that exceeded all expectations. Tourists are treated very well throughout South Africa. Now that winter is hitting us with full force here in Ontario I wish I was back there!
