The Swanage Railway

Since 2007 I have visited the Swanage Railway in Dorset each summer and spent some very enjoyable hours riding the steam trains on this well preserved line, which is a credit to all the enthusiasts who maintain and run it.

Dave saw your comment on DP, just to let you know the photographs are great. I only live just arount the corner in Poole, so its great to see my back yard so to speak. Keep up the good work. Regards Audhon (Steve)

one of my fav railways of recent.. some special memories of it in 2006 (we were in a campsite near Corfe & they were running some night specials). Thanks for your images Dave (found this via dpreview)... Rob
