im not sure how you managed shooting straight into the Sun and getting away with it, but you did! nice photo.
imo, and for what its worth i would have preferred the composition with less sky in it and more of the wet sand and water filling the frame (say 3/4 sand beach) as that's where my eyes are drawn.
the lone figure in silhouette on horizon is essential as without it there is nothing to show scale, very nice touch and it also adds much interest to the scene.
