I also started school in etchings well two room school house in 1953 and I remember fishing over the bridge with a string and a jar. We lived in a house called orchard studios. I too went back to America at 13 yrs my mom was a Londoner thx for letting me share fond memories of childhood ettchinswell seems to have stood still in time

A lot of my ancestors came from Ecchinswell and Newbury. I have never been there, and I do not travel now. These pictures give me a chance to look into my distant past.
