Hi Harfields. I'm Steve Harfield, formerly of Petersfield, Hampshire - son of Fred Harfield, of Rake, near Petersfield, who was the son of another Fred Harfield (nicknamed Tim), who was born at the Flying Bull Pub in Rake. I have a brother Phil, who lives across the county in Christchurch. I have a son, Stanley Harfield, and we now live in Kirkcudbrightshire, South-West Scotland. All the best.

Well done David, I loved looking at the Ecchinswell images. I was raised in 3 Clere Cottages from 1956 to 1961, a farm cottage where my parents Bertram and Jenny Billing lived. My sister Christine followed a couple of years afer me. I was christened at St Laurence's in 1957. Dad was a Hereford cattle herdsman (the Benbow Herd) for the Gore Lloyds at that time. We lived next door to the Blanchard family. At no 2 Clere cottages lived the Boucher family, and an elderly widowed lady, Mrs Stratton, lived at No. 1. I have wonderful memories of my early years there, and the place has remained an idyll in my mind. I visit from time to time to walk through the village, walk to Kingsclere and climb Watership Down.

Would love to hear from Harfields around the world. I work on my family tree and always interested to hear about another branch of the family. I come down from John and Mary Harfield, born England but came to Canada. I live near Toronto and have several siblings, including a brother Douglas who was lost to us for many years but recently found him in Ireland where he has lived with the maternal part of his family. George Harfield, Montreal is my grandfather.

Hoping you all had a lovely Xmas.
Aunt Deanne has sent the Photo gallery link to me, and I'm well impressed, now when Nan (Rose) is telling me who's been doing what, I can put faces to the names.
And haven't you all changed.
All is well here in Oz. Best of luck for the new year. We'll have to try and make use of the internet and keep in touch more often.

Just trawling through the web searching for Harfield connections as I have recently started looking at my family history, and came across your site. Would welcome any information you have on your side in case there are links in our dim and distant past.
