I am grateful to have found your photos of the bullfight in Thornton last Saturday, and have featured two of them on my blog (http://hallowedground.blog-city.com ).

Thank you.

Hi Dave,
Not sure if you got my other entry as I had difficulty navigating back here. My work e-mail is vchowe@raytheon.com until Oct 25th. Got to go back and look at my records, but the 1840 census shows that Truman's father was Isreal Howe and lived in either Parma or Albion. I think there was also a daughter named (Evangeline?). I am planning on a trip back there one day to see what I can find. If you can e-mail me to make contact, I'll be happy to share some stories

Hi Dave,
I was also in attendance at the Thorton bullfights on the 15th and 17 of October. It was a great bullfight and a great performance by the bullfighters on foot and horse. I am a new member of the New grupos de forcados from Turlock that will be perfroming next year at a few bullfights. You're pictures of bullfights are greatly appreciated and I enjoyed my first time on seeing the pictures you took.
Thank you
Tom

Hi Dave,
My name is Vern Howe. I think we may have met in College City many many moons ago. I vaguely recall meeting (Leo?) (Bub?) at that time. I think he was a barber? Is he your dad or grand dad? My side of the Howe family decended from Authur Howe (John's brother). My Dad, Carl is buried with Authur in College City. My Aunt Jessie was married to Les Crique and lived in College City until she could no longer take care of herself. I have done some historical research and found some Michigan roots tied to Truman. Please e-mail me as soon as you can as I retire from Raytheon on Oct 25th. My home e-mail vhowe@cox.net isn't working yet.

Dear Dave!
My first sight of you was you in footy pj's drinking CoolAid. Janine not yet making her entrance on stage. Just had such pleasure viewing your "Ft Bragg" set plus many others. Am bowled over. Talent on loan from God- no, won't quote that man! But you are a genius and I loved so being able to see you all. Best wishes and thanks!
Peggy H in Sarasota.
