Geez, it took me forever, but at last I've seen each and every one of the photographs in your galleries. I'm completely into your work. I was sent here by someone on the message board of non-photography.com, who said you're the best around, and I'll have to second that. If you have a spare minute, please check out my website. I'd really appreciate your comments.
Cheers, and thanks for sharing your work,
Keep it up Dave, I keep coming back :)

Great work you have here. Like to pure and honest images on life's true face.
You quite made some career already working for NGC etc.
I'll come againto check your new stuff as well.
hope you'll find the time to check out my site as well. The photos are similar to the work you make.
Through your art we can conjure the oneness of the human condition... the pain and the pleasure, the pride and the love. A necessary reminder.
Thank you, and Bravo!
Your galleries are quite unique and exeptionally well done.
Hadn't come upon your galleries before. Only saw part of them this visit, but was much impressed. Very, Very nice work. I look forward to returning often. So, so many fine photos.
Great pictures (all of them!!!)
Love the shots of the face touchers. Great idea!
I was just scrolling down through your guest book and saw the names of many of the pbase photographers I admire so much. I guess great minds think alike, at least in appreciation or your prodigious talent and unfailing eye.
I look forward to visiting your fabulous galleries again soon.
What can I say other than you are fantastic! Your street photography is one of the best and sensitive that I have seen! Do take a peek at my gallery and I appreciate your comments and advice.

Rambunctious Flying French Fries!
wonderful gallery! you communicate very well the feeling of life on the streets of the UK
It's so refreshing to view your work (I get here frequently from shutterfreaks). It's such a breath of fresh air to see such light work of such serious subjects. I wish I had a fraction of your talent!
arf!... so nice to see London one more time!

I really enjoy looking at your work. It has everything a photographer would want in a image.
Dave, I have just discovered your photo's atPBase-the London Street Scenes - They are absolutely fantastic! I am new to Digital Photography and am currently looking at which camera to buy. The enevitable question is "What camera did you use" for these shots - Please dont tell me it is something incredibly expensiveplease!
dave you have no fear.. Im more shy about street-photography..
Your eye is amazing..
Out of curiousity.. what's your 'walkaround' lens that you use most often?
Your pics are getting better and better, one of these days you must publish a book of these.. you've easily enough excellent stuff here already!
Thanks very much Parham.
You have a great week ok
All the best
Thanks Tom............ :-)
I suggest you make better use of your time and go out and take more pics that you do so well.
Really do enjoy your work.
All the best Tom
Hi Dave. Thanks for visiting. I really like your approach and your clever titles (boy, you REALLY know how to "freewheel" it). Yours is one of the early entries to my favorites list. But, you have so many pictures and I have such a slow connection. Don't know when I'll make it through all those galleries and pages. I don't think I have 2,000 of EVERYTHING I've done! :-) Tom
Dave, I've got to hand it to you: You're something else!
That's all I have to say.
Thanks for this Dom....
Will be in touch
dave one of your pics seems to have eerily mirrored Saddam's recent capture!
I really appreciate the choices of your subjects. Keep on giving us a chance to share your clever impressions...
When I clicked a link at pbase.com I came on your site and kept on viewing trough your galleries until I saw them all in one time.
I couldn`t believe to see, the hard work of someone who does what I`m trying to do.
I still have a lot to learn :-)
Viewing your pictures keeps me motivated to hang on and do my amount of hours per day on the streets (Brussels) even now when it rains alot and it`s getting cold.
Below I read you are happy with your Powershot G3.
Something I will not deny, being happy also in using mine, but sometimes I get frustrated because it`s so slow and I miss `the moment`. What about you?
Congrats with your Geographic publication and I look forward to see new work from you.
I had so much fun viewing your galleries! You are very talented and diverse in your subjects. Wonderful entertainment!
Im no expert Dave, but these are pictures are very good. Your talented and Im very jealous. Someone with a social conscience and an eye for detail, thank you for sharing your perspective on the world, live long and prosper comrade.
Well thankyou very much Vera
You are very lucky to be living in Australia as the world cup is now on and Im a HUGE rugby fan ........ some have all the luck !!! .......... LOL !!!!!!!
Dave, your photos remind me over & over again that the world is one big lively eccentric head-spinning fun place to live in! Brilliant & interesting photography. cheers, Vera.
Cheers John for the good karma
You have a good and safe week
Cheers John for the good karma
You have a good and safe week
I left a message on your site ....you have a freash eye for an image......... very enjoyable indeed
Take care and good luck
tHANK YOU SO MUCH ..... Enjoy that sun
Well thank you very much Felix.
A lot of these were taken with a Canon G3 .....A super camera and if you can afford one and your budget allows you you should get one ... you wont be disopointed.
Also ofcourse I post proccess images and that could acount for the color and tone.
More important than any camera is your imagination and that costs nothing !!!!! ........ lol !!!!
Cheers Felix and good luck.
Thanks very much Berti
You are a great artist. I am not no matter which camear you use, you can make the picture you take an art. However, I really like the tone and color of your pictures. I am wondering which camera you use to take the pictures. And can you recommend a consumer digital camera for me? I am thinking of Canon S400, but it can not produce the color and tone shown in your pictures, which are so elegent and pleasant.
Keep it up
You have some really great photos. I was most impressed by your mixing color with black & white shots. It works because it's your eye & sensitivity that's the binding force.
I found your gallery randomly. Your gallery is so great! It's amazing! You let me know what photography is. Actually i am only a 16 year old Hong Kong girl. I want to be a part time photographer. Can u just visit my gallery and give me some comments? Thanks!!
Regards from a sunny Portugal.,
(and I have to comeback.,much of your pics&text needs more of my attention)
inspiring images Dave, u have sharp eyes and a great style. 2 questions.. What camera/s do you use? and, u seem to produce a tremendous amount of these photos; is it too personal to ask.. what do you do for work? Are you a full time photographer, or does you work enable/require a lot of london travel/photo opportunities? Cheers, dom
Glad you liked them
Nice Dave, you're touch and style is very clear. I enjoyed looking at your work.
Cheers Johan mate...... Do me a favour,if you see Mazza over the weekend give him a kick in the bollocks from me ....... :-)
Take care mate

Well thanks very much Wendy.
I hope this finds you well
All the best
I love your images, they always provoke thought. You have a very unique style - there is a very human quality you portray.
Its all been said Dave. I could say you would do even better with a dSLR but you seem to be doing fine without one.
I've only recently joined PBase, but from what I found at random, your stuff is definitely the most inspiring. I wish I could just let my hair down and not worry so much about technique + I wish I had a bit more balls. Keep it up mate!
Anyway, if you fancy a look at mine, it's
All the best
just want to tell you that I love your photo's. I admire the way you create an atmosphere in them. I've only started making photo's myself just a year ago and i'm starting to get the hang of it. I produced quite a few really good ones and the number of good pictures is rising. Now i'm just wishing I had more money to replace my Canon ixus v2.
I just want to tell u that yr album is my favourite amongs all pbase album I had saw!!
Really like the way u see the world and people>>>
Keep on shooting pls, I'm so glad to see yr work!!
All the gallerys were shot useing a FUJI 6900Z except the last one ,that was shot useing a CANON G3 .......
Thanks Billy and Im very happy you liked them.........
i'm sure you must get asked 100 x per week, but what make/model camera do you use? (or is that an impertinent question) I'm just getting into things and am inspired by your style and view. I know it's not just the camera that takes the picture, but...
Great photos! I loved every one of them. And the way you grouped them and labeled the groups was very entertaining. the_face_touchers Cool!
Great photos, it was a festival for my eyes. Best gallery I've seen in pbase.
great work, dave. it was a pleasure looking through your portfolio.

Your work is wonderful. Exiting, observant and interesting. Your eye for the picture is clearly instinctive and this is something we hardly ever see. I'm a fan; keep it up!
Dave you've done a tremendous amount of work and it deserves to be seen. I'm putting a link to your gallery on my website...I promote writers and artists, so that more people,at sites other than pbase can see them. I hope this gets you a lot more viewers.
it'll be in the reviews section under accolades.
Found your work through a friend on LiveJournal who had stumbled onto your site.

Hi Dave. Wow, great shots here, dozens of them! I am especially fond of your street photos, very keen. I also find your 'conceptual' work very
interesting as well. My favorite right now though, is 'poor mans abucus' (?), don't know why, but I dig it. anyhow, just thought I'd drop in and
say hi. Keep shooting and take care,

I'm very impressed. Working every day with images I must say that you have many real great shots in this gallery. I think that nobody can believe that you're only taking pictures from 3 months ago. You realy have the knack and a very good eye for interesting scenes and moods and also a very good eye for compostion. Several of your pictures are much better then some I see published in different magazines. Real great stuff Dave!!!
Hey! Mark....Thanks...Glad you like them.
Glad to have been of assistance,I shall take a look when I get the time and let you know.
Take it easy.
Dave, Like your "loose" style of photography i.e shoot anything and everything! Take a look at www.picturetrail.com/markel, 'fraid I'm a bit more rigid :0( Still, let me know what you think, best wishes. By the way, thanks for taking the time to comment on my battery question on DPReview.
