I am using Nicholas R.'s CCD Cleaning Method (yes, it deserves capitalization) to clean my D100's sensor. The method cost me a total of about $30, and should last me a year. Here are the results.
Hi David,
I'm researching before I try to clean my D100 sensor. I stumbled onto your site. Anyway, I was wondering how long you've been doing it yourself? The reason I'm asking is because during my research one person posted that if you clean it yourself the camera goes faulty after about 12,000 or so shots. I don't beleive this because many people apparently clean their own. I also found a how to guide in Japanese by Nikon on cleaning the sensor. Any words of advice are greatly appreciated.
