You are a gifted photographer, these are wonderful. I am looking into the possibility of putting together a Twelfth Night Madrigal feast for the 2007-2008 holiday season, and wondered if your group would be interested in participating. It might be a way to make some money for your chapter. Since I don't know who your chapter leader is, I just googled "sca, pittsburgh", and found YOU. Please contact me or ask your leader to do so, if you'd like to discuss the possibilities.

You are my favorite SCA photographer ever! I've been in the SCA for over 20 years and have always found photos of SCA fighting, and especially war completely boring. I don''t know what you do, but I look at your fighting pictures and love them... :) And what I love even more are your portraits and pictures of non-fighting motives. I have tried to explain the spirit of Pennsic to those who haven't been there, but could never really capture the magic - now I can show them your pictures - so wonderful.

I really hope you can come and visit us in Drachenwald/Europe at some point.

I'm a great fan of your other photos on Flickr as well.

Absolutely beautiful!!! Even though, here in Isula Draconis, we have loads of castles to play with, the lure of Pennsic is still strong. (I used to live in Calontir...but moved to the Inusla when I met my lord husband, and have been to Pennsic twice. ) Which brings me to my next point...ahem....can we see some Calontir photos, pleeeeaase??

May I say, your ability to capture a 'moment' is incredible. You catch the subject doing what they are doing, not 'posing' and the colors are radiant. Visiting the picture of Pennsic 33 took me back to the misty mornings, the valient battles, and the local folk that add the color of Pennsic. Thank you for about 20 minutes of fun and wonder.

nice and wonderful pictures you have taken! I thouhgt you might be also interested in pictures of a similar event in Germany/ Europe ( it´s the biggest LARP Convention in Europe - besides of England) the "Drachenfest" Dragon Convention. The amazing difference between USA and Europe seems the difference of age. The most of our players are aroung 18 - 25, only a few are older then 30, on your pictures there are more "Elder" people.
