The Tuchux Charity Tournament is an event aimed as raising money to fight breast cancer. Fighters from all Kingdoms, as well as Tuchux warriors, come to donate money and compete for the title of champion. The fighting is done in four “bear pits.” Competitors draw lots from a helmet to see which weapon from the central pile they will be fighting with. The winner of each bought stays in the pit until defeated, gaining a hash mark for each victory. The top scorer from each pit then competes against each other until only one remains standing.

"Last year started with the loss of my beloved Wife Talia Greypanther AKA Michelle Anne Ringo. She was the most intelligent, resourceful, successful, and beautiful woman I have ever had the privilege of knowing, let alone falling in love with and marrying.

She helped me see through the here and now, and look further to the future. Instead of living each day as if it were my last, she broadened my horizons though her days were few and numbered. I have never seen a braver soul; she would go to chemo, then radiation, then to work if her body would let her. Sometimes when it would not, she would make me take her there against my better judgment. She was that committed to her work, friends, and especially family of which all of these beautiful, strong, proud, and unquestionably loyal wenches are a part of. My life will never be the same without her, and my life will always be a better place from her brief yet permanent place she has etched in my soul. January 14th 2005 8:00am is truly the “Day the Music Died”.
