There are three shooting contests. The first is called a “walk up shoot.” A series of lines are spaced along the range, going up a hill. The shooters fire at targets and then advance to the next line. You’ll notice how the first line is below the crest of the hill with the tops of the targets barely visible to me and I am tall!
The second event is a “friend or foe” shoot. The champions stand in a line and fire at targets that represent a friendly knight, down on one knee with a foe about to deliver a blow. They are given 30 seconds to fire as many missiles as they can, trying to hit ONLY the foe.
The third event is a walk through the woods shooting at targets. I did not shoot that part.
