I am trying to find information on their son Nicholas, whom I believe lived in Calhoun Co., WV during the 1840's or earlier (it was VA at the time). I need to find the name of his children as I believe one of them, a daughter, is directly related to me. Anyone who has any info on this who would like to share it, would be much appreciated. I also believe that Col. John's father was a David Gibson from Tyre Co., Ulster, Ireland, though I haven't researched this.
