I needed a day like today. I’ve been in a funk of sorts over a variety of issues so it was good to get away from the city with my good friend Steven. After work we just took off in a random direction form his house and ended heading west. Neither of knew where we were going and quit frankly, we became lost a few times. As we wandered around, the skies, which have been gray and cold for days, began to open up and that clear, cold light I love so much appeared between the scattered clouds. We eventually happened upon one of the most interesting churches I have yet seen. This is Saint Nicholas Chapel.
