While driving home from work I noticed a few sleeping white-tailed deer, (Odocoileus virginianus) along a hillside near North Park. Turning around I found a place to park and then tried to get a shot of at least one of them sleeping. I have occasionally spotted deer resting and found there “beds” many times. This is the first time I ever found one actually asleep though.
