Phipps Conservatory

Today was a beautiful day, sunny, cool, low humidity and clear light. Unfortunately, I had to spend the day in the office! Oh well, at lunch I thought I would walk over to Phipps and see about shooting a dragonfly like I had seen a few other people doing the day before. By chance, a very nice lady who had been there the other day was back doing the same thing. After shooting for a while by myself, I eventually walked over and started to chat. She was using a Canon Rebel so we talked camera, printing, and Photoshop for a while and I even let her take my lens for a test spin. It’s encounters like these, when you meet another buff and just “BS” about pictures, which make me even more interested in this passion of mine.

One of your best. Remarkable perspective, color, and clarity.

I'm gonna go out on limb here and say Blue Skimmer. I don't know my dragonflies the way I should, and it's a shame because I love them especially. So I'd double check behind me if you want to know for sure.
