The morning of the 4th of July found us paddling around the wetlands of Glade Run Reservoir. It was a very hot and hazy day. We spotted a number of Great blue heron, Ardea herodias throughout the swamp. I hope to get an extender so that I may get better photos of these magnificent birds someday.
