Carnegie Museum of Natural History

Today I was able to borrow a co-workers new macro lens. She is our staff photographer and I was recently able to help her in picking out some new camera equipment. She now has the Canon EOS 10D as well as a good assortment of lenses and odds and ends. I’m so excited for her. The one thing she did get that I haven’t gotten yet was a decent macro lens. My 28-135 does OK macro work, but hers is SWEET! ;-)

I eventually want to get a good macro for myself but am unsure just which one I want yet.

Oh, this is some sort of moth we had in our department today…
